We would be delighted to accommodate you and your wedding plans. Our Ballroom can host up to 80 day wedding guests for both your ceremony and wedding breakfast, offering a beautiful and comfortable setting for your special day. 

If your guest list changes, additional wedding guests can be added to any of our wedding packages, allowing us to tailor everything to your exact requirements. We also understand that wedding plans evolve, so guests can be removed as well, ensuring your final wedding package accurately reflects your confirmed wedding guest numbers and overall wedding cost.

 We always aim to be as flexible as possible so your wedding feels exactly right for you. We offer an Exclusive Use Wedding Package, which allows you to have the entire wedding venue and gardens completely to yourselves on your wedding day, with no members of the public on site at any time. This gives you full privacy, complete exclusivity, and a truly personal setting to celebrate your wedding exactly how you want it.

With exclusive use, you have the freedom to enjoy the wedding venue at your own pace, creating a relaxed and uninterrupted atmosphere for your wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast, and wedding evening celebrations. It’s the ideal option for couples looking for a fully private and immersive wedding experience.

If your wedding budget does not quite stretch to the Exclusive Use Wedding Package, then our Fairytale Wedding Package may be the perfect alternative for your wedding. It still offers a beautifully styled wedding experience with flexibility built in, allowing you to tailor your wedding day to suit your vision and wedding guest numbers. The Fairytale Wedding Package provides excellent value while still delivering a memorable and elegant wedding celebration in a stunning wedding setting.

If you don’t drink, that is absolutely not a problem for your wedding, and we can tailor everything to suit your wedding day perfectly. For your wedding package, we can offer a flexible range of options so all your guests feel included and looked after.

We can still include an element of alcohol within your wedding drinks package for guests who do drink, while replacing a portion of it with 0% sparkling wine or alcohol-free beer so your wedding bar still caters to everyone. For your wedding reception, we can also provide jugs of fresh juice, soft drinks, or even shared drinks buckets with a mix of non-alcoholic options to suit your wedding celebration.

If you would prefer, we can completely remove alcohol from your wedding package altogether and fully replace it with a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks. We also offer a great mocktail menu, which works really well for wedding receptions and evening wedding celebrations.

Whatever you choose for your wedding, we will make sure the drinks package is adjusted accordingly, and the wedding package price will be updated fairly to reflect any changes made. Whether it’s the menu, timings, décor, or any other part of your wedding package, everything can be adapted to suit your plans. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — instead, we work closely with you to build a wedding that feels personal and unique to you.

 We will simply adjust the wedding package price to reflect only the services you’ve chosen, ensuring you only pay for what you love and what is important to your wedding day. Our goal is to create a relaxed, stress-free planning experience and a wedding day that truly reflects you as a couple.

Yes, you are very welcome to get married in the garden. Our beautiful Rose Garden is fully licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies, and as long as the weather in Derbyshire is on our side, we would be delighted to host your wedding ceremony outdoors.

You can also enjoy live acoustic music in the garden for your wedding, or alternatively use a playlist, as we have outdoor speakers available to create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding ceremony.

There is a small additional cost for outdoor wedding ceremonies, as this includes extra staff on hand to assist with set-up, move tables where needed, and ensure everything runs smoothly on your wedding day. It also covers having our ballroom fully prepared as a backup space in case of any unexpected weather changes, so your wedding is always fully taken care of no matter what.We understand that every couple and every wedding is different, and we never want anyone to feel tied into a set package that doesn’t suit their vision. Your wedding day should reflect your personalities, your style, and the atmosphere you want to create for your wedding, and we’re more than happy to work with you to make that happen.

For a full wedding day, we would typically recommend scheduling your ceremony between 12pm and 1pm, as this tends to work perfectly with the flow of the day and allows everything to run smoothly.

A suggested wedding timeline would be:

Wedding Ceremony – 1:00pm

Drinks & Canapés – 1:30pm

Visit Melbourne Pool (if included in your wedding package)

Wedding Breakfast / Food – 3:00pm

Speeches – 5:30pm

Room Turnaround – 6:00pm

Evening Reception / Party Time – 7:00pm

Taxi Time – late evening

It is also important to remember that timings ultimately depend on the availability of the registrars for your wedding ceremony, so we always recommend checking and confirming with the registrars first before finalising and booking your wedding date and schedule.
