FAQ’S
-
The dry hire wedding package is available in two options: one offering exclusive use of the venue, and another offering partial hire of selected spaces such as the ballroom and White Bar. This allows couples to choose the level of access and flexibility that best suits their wedding plans.
Please be aware that we do not offer exclusive dry hire for Friday and Saturday weddings. Midweek dates may offer more flexibility depending on availability.
If this is something you would like to explore further, our dry hire packages start from £5,000, with final pricing depending on your chosen spaces, date, and specific wedding requirements. We would be happy to discuss your ideas in more detail and create a tailored option for your wedding day.
-
Please note that use of the kitchen is available at an additional charge if you are choosing external caterers for your wedding. This is due to our existing contract with our in-house caterers, which requires that if another catering company is brought in, the kitchen must be professionally deep cleaned before and after use. This is to ensure full compliance with strict food hygiene standards and to eliminate any risk of cross-contamination.
This process helps us maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and quality for every wedding held at the venue, ensuring your wedding day runs smoothly whether you choose our in-house catering team or an external supplier for your wedding reception.
-
A minimum bar spend is applied to ensure a set level of bar usage throughout your wedding reception. This is in place because the room hire for this package is offered at a reduced cost.
If you prefer not to have a minimum bar spend as part of your wedding package, we can absolutely adjust this for you by increasing the room hire cost instead, removing the bar spend requirement altogether. This allows us to tailor the wedding package structure to best suit your preferences and wedding plans.
-
As there will be two bars open on your wedding day, we do not offer a corkage option as standard within this wedding package. This is because the bar service is fully provided on-site to ensure smooth service for you and your wedding guests throughout your wedding reception.
However, if you would prefer to have the bars closed during your wedding reception, we can look at offering corkage as an alternative option for your wedding day. Please note that this would be subject to an additional cost, and would need to be agreed in advance as part of your wedding package planning.
We are always happy to discuss different options to suit your wedding style and budget, and we can tailor the wedding package to ensure everything works perfectly for your special day.
-
Food trucks are permitted with the dry hire wedding package. They would be positioned at the front of the venue, as there is no access to the garden area from the front entrance.
For all wedding suppliers attending your wedding day, we would require valid documentation including Public Liability Insurance (PLI), PAT testing certificates where applicable, and up-to-date Food Hygiene certificates.
This helps ensure that your wedding day runs safely and smoothly, while still giving you the flexibility to personalise your wedding catering and overall celebration with your chosen suppliers.
